Breastfeeding Mom Saves Pet Goose

When Cait Oakley's pet goose, Frankie, was attacked by an eagle while she was breastfeeding her 4 month old baby, she knew she had to act fast. Without hesitation, Cait jumped up, with her baby in her arms, and ran outside to protect Frankie.

The eagle was trying to fly away with Frankie in its talons. Without thinking, Cait yelled and ran after the pair, causing the eagle to drop Frankie and fly away.

Cait says to Global News '“She’s like my fourth child, I was terrified.”

While the incident was certainly scary, it serves as a reminder of the strength and determination of breastfeeding mothers. They are not only capable of nourishing and protecting their babies, but also of standing up for their family and defending those they love.
